Remember when he completely disappeared in the Green Bay playoff game? That's who he is late in seasons.

His sacks mostly came against the Giants and Panthers. Look it up.

He disappeared way too often.

When they can’t get to the passer and EZ doesn’t acclimate and become parsons a lot of people will change their tune. Or double down. It’s par for the course here.

If you’re going to trade a Micah Parsons. You don’t do it for 2 late round firsts and a 30 year old DT on the downside of his career.

That’s all I’m trying to say.

IMO there are two problems with the trade…
  1. They traded Parsons to an NFC contender
  2. They didn’t get enough in return.

Problem is that the drama will always be there as long as Micha is making huge plays for Green Bay. If Green Bay goes to the SB while Micah is named the MVP the drama will always be there. If the Cowboys D plays super horrible the drama will always be there. The drama is still there with Luka and that still includes the Mavs getting the #1 pick plus a potential generational talent in Cooper Flagg.
 
Guys guys...calm down. Micah told the entire world he didn't want to be here. Were you not paying attention? It's unfair to put this on Jerry. Micah not Jerry, said he wanted traded. He scrubbed his Twitter . Then got spotted at the airport supposedly getting his bad back examined...which we all know was a ****** lie. Was he heading to Green Bay? Hmmm. Micahs got some explaining to do and he looks nefarious.

He did for sure.

I always thought it was how he was being used. And it was to a degree. The problem is when you use your only weapon so often it gets banged up.

The team had no one generating pressure up the middle and the LBs have sucked for years.

Jerry could have avoided all that. Micah was open to a deal last year. Jerry realistically could have gotten Parsons, Dak, and Lamb all done last year. Instead, he played the usual games he plays, and he got burned this time.
 
I’m glad he’s gone. Super talented , great player. But, he’s not cut from the same cloth as Irvin, Aikman etc. can’t have his attitude with a new regime. Packers seem to be a better fit for him.

Believe me, I didn't want him gone....but, he is....so, time to move on.
