I think we got rid of the one player who could play hero ball. These others will need to stick to the scheme for us to succeed IMO.

Not doing this i'm saying Washington used two backups and got to a championship game we have one of their players back and I say we're deeper and I say we're better next It's funny how this works my opinion versus yours but the fact is Armstrong was a backup for years and then became a starter and Fowler was a role player that became a starter and they still made a championship game with a weak not so deep edge room that's the point they don't have the edge room we have..

EZ-is considered one of the most ready edge players in this year's draft. Coming off of a 16.5 sack season.
Sam Williams-might be the most physically gifted on the entire team, but hasn't put it all together
Houston-is a veteran with a 8 sack season under his belt. He dominated in the preseason games
Kneeland-more of a run defender coming out, but he reportedly is starting to become a better pass rusher

No doubt, it is going to be harder for this group without the attention Parsons would receive, but it doesn't mean they don't have a legitimate pass rush.

Houston is super interesting. Kneeland is probably more of a power guy but he may produce some pressures. We've seen it from Williams, just need to see more. I don't think they'll be a bad group.

One key (in my opinion) is limiting snaps for all of DL.
- i.e. A consistent rotation.
- One reason fans complained that Parsons looked worn down later in the season(s) is that he played too many snaps.

It was a gift and a curse. We needed him out there on defense but he needed to play less snaps so he wasn't so worn down at the end of the year.

Here teams figured out to run the ball right at Parsons but I'm sure GB isn't paying him to be a great run defender. They want him to hunt the qb so if he makes a tackle here and there then it's a bonus.

It is, but rushing the passer without having to use extra rushers usually means you have to have someone who can consistently beat his OL opponent one on one. Parsons was so good at that that offenses had to give him extra attention, which opened up opportunities for others to get to the QB.

We may be better against the run, but that certainly doesn't mean we'll be better against the pass. I would prefer to be good against both. IMO, Parsons' play against the run is being magnified by those who want to downplay this loss. He is one of the premier players at his position and some want to pretend like he's not now that he's gone.

Look again. Part of the team and this one move puts them ahead of a rebuild rebound. This still a business and the team decision put them finally ahead given two more seasons. In the mean time, there is a lot valid talent to continue the team fight.
