Is this holding?

This is nothing new for Philly. If you watch their games, they get away with a TON, especially holding to allow Hurts to escape and run. Not ticky tack calls but blatant calls. I know KC is the scapegoat for the team who gets all the calls and no-calls but Philly is right there.

Are you kidding? The one call was for taunting when a guy was just yelling into thr air. We did it 10 times. The Fergie call was a joke. Go watch the replay, He didn’t get blown up. There was no forearm, no intent, it was a defender who couldn’t get out of the way. Completely not intentional. The PI was even iffy with both guys fighting each other. These threads are obnoxious. Why don’t we go and look at all our O possessions and parse every play to see when we held. Bet you find a dozen. Stop whining
Ok then go find those Dallas holds.

Because the Eagles holds were so apparent & game changing that they’re plastered all over the internet.

Now go find the Cowboys holds..

Some people don't want to see the entire game. Whining about the refs is a useless exercise. No one would even care if CD didn't drop game winning passes.

I’m not looking for them because it’s useless. Erod posted a blatant slap to the helmet right above my post. You guys whine all day. I already pointed out how lucky we got multiple times but you will ignore that. I really enjoy your posts and think you are similar to me on how we see things but I’m not spending my time blaming refs every game and this has become comical on this board when we got 6 first downs off penalties

That's because other teams fans don't go making screen shots of plays isolating players to support their whining about how every one of their opponents should always have 40 flags for 500 yds every game, while their own team should never be penalized

Only our fans do that...so that material is easy to find

Sure dude. So the refs have an agenda but they chose to kick out their best player before the game even got going and called 6 penalties that gave Dallas 6 first downs instead of ignoring them. It’s amazing how they hide all of it

Should have been holding.

There was a time though when it was ok to grab like that, Inside the numbers. Tyron Smith was known for his vice-like grip and made a living controlling defenders like that. They tightened up the rule because of him.

Kneeland got held on one play as well. There were plays he was manhandled and within the rules but He did get held on one play where I think he would have got to Jalen.

But to be fair...you can probably find a hold or two for every game that was not called.
And I'm OK with that. They are not going to call every one and probably some examples can get shown where our linemen held. My only problem with it is that there were multiple examples of the Eagles holding and not one was called. The Eagles line gets treated like it is infallible. I'm not even sure the officials look for holding because they don't seem to expect it.

We at least got called for holding. One call against the Eagles would have made it seem more fair. The Eagles did get a bunch of other calls against them, so it's not like the refs were cheating; they just don't call the Eagles for holding for some reason.

That was definitely a hold.

We also benefited from what I thought was ticky tac “taunting” penalty.

Cool theory but not true at all.

Just asking.......seems they missed a few

I'll be honest, I did not think this was a great crew. They missed a few holds and even had a few calls go our way that were questionable too. The taunting penalty, for example, seemed like a tough call IMO. I know the league has made an emphasis this year on that but it still seemed kind of weak to me.

This was clear and obvious penalty. I saw a ton of other calls let go. Also dallas was holding bad on a few. There was also a time when a ref marked hurts down on a tush push short. And other guy comes in marks it way and starts saying first down . It looked short but was hard to see. But the 1 ref had it short. On the Fumble it looks like the guy was barely holding the ball .That stands out as very odd more than alot of things. But the eagles was allowed to hold alot. Dallas never tried rush pass at all till the second half. And not have a qb spy at end think was the worse. Hurts cant pass. I dont care what anyone tried to lie about or pretend hes a great qb. The guy is horrible. And why isnt he being blitzed more by all teams. Instead of giving him 2 lanes that semi trucks can run through. He cant pass. he doesnt have half the passing abilitly any good backup had 2000-2020. Hes terrible. BUt yet you cant stop a qb run every 3rd down? this goes for all teams. Seems very very strange
Wasn't it interesting that in the second half, after the DL established dominance, Hurts and the Philly offense folded? It may have been a loss, but I think we figured out the blueprint on how to beat the Eagles. Hopefully the rest of the NFL was watching.

That was legit and in the rules.

He can flex and do it any other direction. You cannot do it pretty much on top of the opposing team

Yes, by the rules this is considered holding. Once Sam Williams turns to chase the play and the blocker's grip impeded his pursuit or change of direction it is holding. There were numerous plays like this last night that were not called for some reason. But the refs also missed the wild left roundhouse punch Guyton threw at an Eagles defender. I am wondering if Guyton will be suspended a game for that stupidity.

Planting your feet on either side of a dude who is on the ground and then yelling down at him while flexing your muscles...yeah, no taunting there.

Yet we did it! Honestly I think it was super weak because guys get up yelling after every big play! Kneeland did right over Hurts after the sack! So the difference is where the yell goes? That’s weak. The excuses we give when we get a gift is comical. Same with the Furgeson hit. They replayed it 10 times and you can see no intent, no forced forearm etc. It was a guy running into the play
