The Cowboys are obvious favorites this week at home (-6) against the Jints. And most probably expect us to win.

But how important is this win. If we were to fall to 0-2 losing to what most consider a lesser team what could that say about our team and where we are.

I’d argue this is even a more important game than last week. A loss means we are staring at 0-3 headed to Chicago .

And why I’d argue this is a huge game for us. Not must win yet but I can’t imagine the vibe after falling to 0-2 against NY. The match would certainly be lit for a dumpster fire.

This game is very important because it's a division game and the Cowboys already have one division loss.

It would be better they lose to Chicago than lose to the Giants .. if they had to lose one of them.

It’s important for any team not to start 0-2.

Very important to what?

If you truly think this team, as it's constructed right now, with the GM we have, the coach, the QB, the defense, the RBs, the culture, the heart...if considering ALL that, and you use your years of NFL experience knowing what championship teams look like, and what teams look like that really have no chance.... if you use that knowledge and look at Dallas and say "Dallas is in the same league as the Chiefs, the Bills, the Eagles, the Ravens....and are ready to be heavyweights come December and January in the PLAYOFFS, and not just in September like the last 30 seasons".... then yes, this game is very important

But if you know in your heart of hearts that this team is closer to Arizona, Cleveland, Chicago, Seattle, the Raiders... all who have some good players and are capable of playing good here and there, but teams that we KNOW won't be playing in conference championships or SBs.... then whether we go 1-1 or 0-2 really doesn't matter

IMO... it's just a matter of how honest you can be with yourself

If they lose to the Giants at home this week, the rest doesn't matter.
They will be cooked...imo
It will be interesting to see how Russell Wilson handles the Cowboys defense.
This game will tell everyone what to expect from the Cowboys this season.
Barring a free agent acquisition that can boost the Cowboys hopes, I don't think the defense is ready for this season.

One game at a time. I have no idea how god or bad this team is yet, but I am looking for effort this Sunday. Can they play with the same effort they played with against the Eagles in the second half? If they can do that they may win more games than expected. Repeat that effort and they can beat Chicago and NY.

This game is key to my hopes they implode for a better draft position.

If the Cowboys lose, they should consider trading Lamb for three 1st RDers or as close as they can get to it.

I hope Dak keeps playing well and someone comes calling for him via trade also.

Then your just left with getting Jerry to retire as GM.

SB Victory soon after.

If not you lost nothing, because you have nothing now.

You’re right….and my question would be, what’s going to happen to change that after this season?

A draft? Then you’ll get more of the same next year, and the year after until Prescott is cooked. Then they have no QB at all and zero chance instead of a small one.

What exactly is it going to take for them to realize that what they do doesn’t work?

ok, i hate myself

explain to the rest of us where this team has been in the last 30 years? Than explain how everything gets changed in one bad off season. Go on record.

Some people just prefer to keep a positive attitude instead of *****ing and moaning nonstop. Plenty of teams have looked like crap in the beginning of the year and came storming back. I'm sure the Trent Dilfer led Bucs could have thrown in the towel in the beginning of the season.
What's the point of even watching the games if you are already so sure of how things will end? Why are you even here? Just to pass your misery on to other people?
