I want Micah to have no impact on this game!

We all know he's the focus of the game to the media, but during this week of planning, I'd love to see the Cowboys focus on beating the Packers but more importantly making sure Micah doesn't have an impact!

I want to see him chipped by our tight ends, and RBS, I want us to run the ball, and continue to run the ball at him if we can to show how bad he is against the run. When it comes to pass pro, making sure that our tackles have help when blocking him. When he played for us at times a single tackle with no help did well against him. Will things be perfect no, but let's not make him look all world! We got this!!!

We all know that is his weakness, run right at him, until he proves otherwise.

Even if he doesn't make any plays, just what I highlighted means he had an impact on the game. There's no way around it.

Sorry Coogs but I'm hoping Micah wrecks this game and sacks Prescott half a dozen times. Just to spit in the face of Jerry!!

I cannot read minds, but I am completely certain Jeff Hafley has created schemes he thinks Micah Parsons can exploit as much as humanly possible. Now, Hafley can prove me wrong by having Parsons drop back in coverage all game long, lol.

If he got 5 sacks would Jerry acknowledge even to himself that maybe he mishandled Micah?
Never!

The saving grace is those 2026 and 2027 picks turn into a franchise changing QB who leads the Cowboys to a SB victory under his rookie contract. If that doesn't happen, history will say Dallas blew it trading Parsons.

I want Jerry humiliated.
And if Micah has a huge game and the Packers win big, Jerry will be (for at least a few days) humiliated.

so if Micah goes off, I'm ok with it. Might be painful Sunday but the aftermath would be delightful.

Jerry humiliated will just take it out on the coaching staff. He and his son have no capacity for self reflection at the roster they put together or the decisions they made having brought them to the current situation. They will instead proceed on the premise that the coaching staff isn't getting the best out of the pathetic collection of players they have gathered and overpaid.

I gave you a “Like” yesterday for stating that this forum needs to move on from the all the Micah posts.

Now, you turn around and start a thread about Micah. C’mon Coogs!

In fairness (and it’s a bit of a reach), I guess you could point to slowing Parsons as being genuinely part of game plan discussion and not just another Micah thread.

I hope he proves Jerry wrong

Micah won't have to do much to impact the game. We are woeful.
100% truth.

Over a long NFL season, you win or lose mostly because of overall talent. This 2025 Cowboys team is in the bottom third of the league in overall talent. They aren’t going to win very many games this year.

Coaching can certainly factor in too. The only way you can overcome a lack of talent in an individual game is to have outstanding coaching, scheme and game plan. But coaching and scheme cannot mask a lack of talent for an entire season.

We have a rookie HC and a completely new coaching staff. Maybe they can improve collectively and maximize the talent we have. Which would possibly translate to 6-8 wins. Which IMO does not help this team in the long run.

For this game Sun night, Micah won’t have to have 5 sacks to impact this game. He is disruptive in multiple ways. The key for the Cowboys to win Sun night is twofold:
1. Don’t get two scores behind or it’s over.
2. Be able to run the ball consistently.

That is our only hope. If the pack gets up early more than 7 pts it’s over.

Totally agree, I want no sacks for Parsons. All Dallas has to do is run at right at him or run away from him.No impact for Micah and Dallas wins the game, this would be nice. Dak will need to get the ball out quickly when he passes. This is a game where Dallas needs to run the football effectively.

GB should line Parsons up at receiver for a play or two. I have no doubt he can get open 30 yards down field. That might be a better move than when Jeff Fisher sent out the players he acquired for RGIII for the coin toss.

I'm 100% on board with this I don't care what happens we don't want Micah looking like a human highlight film I just don't want to see it and that's as selfish as I am.

If I can't have good football to watch I at least don't want to be embarrassed by a former player and have it rubbed in.

I think we need to try and dominate with the running game this would be a good game to try Blue out.

Nobody has seen this guy nobody has tape on him and he could just possibly go off.

Just run right at Micah and tire him out don't give him an opportunity to do what he does best.

Pound him early in the game with double teams and chips wear him out even if we don't win and it's a new week anything can happen I think the Packers were probably supposed to beat the browns.

Beat him up and make him show the quitter that he is
