The Super Bowl drought includes the last five years of Aikman's career. The Cowboys lost their way at roster construction ever since Jimmy Johnson left and that's the reason. Not Romo, not Dak. It's Jerry and Stephen.

I have always thought this also.

the same people that criticize Romo for being "Hollywood" were the same ones proclaiming that Romo lost the locker room during the great QB controversy of 2016 because he wasn't going out on the town with the boys and just went to practice and home to his family.

one or the other could be true but not both.
Romo's biggest mistake was dating Jessica Simpson for a brief period.

Kind of the continuation of the Eli Manning Giants scenario. Guy got hot at the perfect time and it was the perfect storm. especially Foles. he had an incredible playoff run during his Super Bowl year.

Still maintains the point. I would put Romo over each of those QBs. The way Dak is playing right now he's at least as good and I'm far from a Dak fan. A lot of the time it's lightning in a bottle with a lot of support from the rest of the team.

..Tony got smart to late, unfortunately.

Was also product of bad luck. He said so, himself.

Had at least three good teams in his career.

Could not get the breaks. Calls, catches, plays, turnovers ..etc. When it counted.

His oline and run game didn't really come to fruition until 2014.

Before then they were ok until taking a massive nose dive vs Minnesota in the playoffs. They never recovered.
