No sense fighting over them. They are the same.
Nope.No sense fighting over them. They are the same.
3 of the 4 you mentioned were Super Bowl MVPs.Trent Dilfer, Joe Flacco, Nick Foles, Jalen Hurts just a few of the more recent Superbowl QBs, but it's definitely all the on the QB to make the Superbowl otherwise they're garbage.
The stuff of champions.
I think it was Romo against Denver one of the best games I’ve seen him play, sadly, we ended up losing. This game against Green Bay kind of reminded me of that. I appreciate both quarterbacks, Romo and Prescott.I do not know the number of times 'Romo Lover' and 'Dak Hater' might get thrown around in this thread, but it may be epic...
I thought he played his best football, after he got married, he seemed to have calmed down you’re right or it was the sex lol..Tony got smart to late, unfortunately.
Was also product of bad luck. He said so, himself.
Had at least three good teams in his career.
Could not get the breaks. Calls, catches, plays, turnovers ..etc. When it counted.
Romo dated Carrie Underwood too. He was more Hollywood than Dak ever was.I have always thought this also.
the same people that criticize Romo for being "Hollywood" were the same ones proclaiming that Romo lost the locker room during the great QB controversy of 2016 because he wasn't going out on the town with the boys and just went to practice and home to his family.
one or the other could be true but not both.
Romo's biggest mistake was dating Jessica Simpson for a brief period.
Total Albatross and emotional wreck.
other than that he played it pretty close to the vest with his personal life, I thought....
yeah and dak dated zeke, he was more Hollywood...Romo dated Carrie Underwood too. He was more Hollywood than Dak ever was.
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!Geesh! How about neither QB plays clutch in the playoffs. Pedigree at the highest level almost always beats fourth round and free agent QBs. Dallas hasn't won anything since Aikman.
He also got hammered...before the rules changed...Tony got smart to late, unfortunately.

Romo and Dak are better than WhiteNope.
Aikman, Staubach, & Morton all lead Dallas to the SB.
Meredith and White got us to multiple championship games.
That's your top 5.
Results matter far more than stats do especially since the rules have changed so much over the decades.
Dak still has a chance to crack the top 5, but it's too late for Romo.
We lost that game 51-48 on a last second FG. I remember it like it was yesterday.I think it was Romo against Denver one of the best games I’ve seen him play, sadly, we ended up losing. This game against Green Bay kind of reminded me of that. I appreciate both quarterbacks, Romo and Prescott.
I blame Patrick Crayton for 2007, had he held on to that one ball, or kept running in the end zone, we win that game..Tony got smart to late, unfortunately.

So...it's the QB's who need the battle?Eerily similar results
Different styles, different levels of offensive lines, various years of most penalized teams, years of really bad defenses.
I might be wrong but wasnt there a year where no kicker missed a field goal against us almost all season?
So many ways to lose big games despite the regular season wins
