Dak Critics haven't been proven wrong

It’s just sad that some of you are just waiting for Dak to lose a game or throw an interception so you can come on the board and crow. I am embarrassed for our fan base.
Dak has been the Cowboys quarterback for 10 years now. I don’t understand if you hate him so much why are these people still Cowboys fans. Makes no sense to me.

As a Dak fan I don’t want you guys to eat crow. I want you to double and triple down on being stupid. If you felt he wasn’t good enough 3 months ago you should still feel the same.

This is just a tired debate and argument. Dak is a good QB. Are we good enough to win with him? We haven’t so who knows.

But this cycle of doing whatever it takes to discredit him is tiresome. The argument was he can’t play good against zone defenses….debunked. Then it was he only plays well against bad teams. Debunked again. D

So just keep don’t what you guys are doing. I’ll enjoy the ride and let you guys continue to discredit him. This is your purpose in life. So why would I expect you to stop your life mission?

I’ve always said if Dak won a ring someone would still say “what took so long”. Most of us know your games.

They have been doing it for years. They so hated 2023....then blamed the packers loss entirely on him like our defense had nothing to do with it. It was a long season for them...but they stuck with it.

This year looks to be longer.

He is playing at an Elite level and seems to have reached a point similar to Romo where in 2014 things finally began to click and he reached a level where he figured out the game at a high level.
I hope Dak continues on this progression and shows that he has overcome any deficiencies he displayed previously and shows that he has reached Elite status.

Dak has delivered in every clutch situation this season. He led would be game winning drives vs Philly, GB and the Giants. He put us in position to win every single game. Theres not much more he can do currently.

Dak has also beaten up on good defenses.

Two things his critics say he cant do, is come through in the clutch and play well against good defenses.

It's the same thing every year. People demanding credit before the playoffs and big games arrive.... And even if he does get over the hump that doesn't mean the previous 10yrs didn't happen. Dumb arguments.

I'm pulling for Dak, he's almost there, and if it does happen at least it's better late than never.

Dak looks strong and quick. Zip on the ball. Accurate.

But if you want to be honest...a great majority of "Dak critics" are because of the "big games"...and playoffs.

No...it was of course not all on Dak. But he did contribute.

So put your crow in the fridge..chill out and enjoy.

If what you say ends up being true...you'll have a sweet off season of leftover bird...and we'll see plenty of vengeful told ya sos as well.

Two things can be true at the same time.

#1 - Dak was not playing at a high enough level to justify the contract he received last season, which a year later is still $5M per year AAV higher than anyone else, and, $11M more than Watson in guaranteed money per year, $16M per year more in guaranteed money over the next highest (and recent) contract, Josh Allen.
#2 - There is a very fair argument that Dak Prescott has been the best QB in the league so far though 5 weeks, and is playing the best football of his career.

Ultimately I don't think either point really matters.....Its a team sport and the Cowboys are still a 500 football team right now and 3rd place in their division. No one is handing out super bowl trophies for whose QB has been the best. We need Dak to continue to play at this level while we also see better performances from the OL and majority of the defense or else its another season of celebrating individual awards over the ultimate goals.

No. That's called having a stout running game to assist you. Romo had the most prolific season by a running back in Cowboys history behind him. And what do you know? It was his best season ever and he was an MVP candidate that year. No coincidence.

So..that's the reason Cowboys fans have not been happy with Dak? "Personally don't like him".

This is a truly crazy notion.


But even if it WERE true. So what? It's possible people did the same thing to Romo. People have the right to not like a player...for whatever reason...and still be a true fan of the team.

Not sure why some people are drawing such a hard line inthe sand about it. They are making things just as miserable as the alleged "haters".
