It might seem that I and other Dak critics need to eat Crow given how well Dak is playing now, but all of the criticisms/doubts we had were legitimate.
He hadn't shown that he was a "Force Multiplier" type QB where he would elevate his team despite being short handed. He did struggle in many big game situations and came up small. He did talk a good game but didn't always back it up on the field in crucial games. Him demanding to be the highest paid QB in the NFL when he hadn't proven that he was deserving of $60 Million a year.
Having said all that, this year he isn't proving critics wrong, he's just seems to have elevated his play and worked on overcoming those legitimate criticisms. He is playing at an Elite level and seems to have reached a point similar to Romo where in 2014 things finally began to click and he reached a level where he figured out the game at a high level.
I hope Dak continues on this progression and shows that he has overcome any deficiencies he displayed previously and shows that he has reached Elite status.

Dak seems to have a problem with consistency.
He has played well before.

Not sure what the issue is.

He sure has outperformed his 4th round draft position.

He just needs to keep playing at a high level to offset the cap hit on the team for us to be competitive.

His critics pick and choose what counts.

Dak has delivered in every clutch situation this season. He led would be game winning drives vs Philly, GB and the Giants. He put us in position to win every single game. Theres not much more he can do currently.

Dak has also beaten up on good defenses.

Two things his critics say he cant do, is come through in the clutch and play well against good defenses.

So you're wrong point blank.

Daks playing well and i am a critic. Ill give props right now but lets play out the year. If he keeps this up i will gladly eat crow. I want to see his game for 17 weeks not 5. And playoffs if we get there

In year 10 he is still having good games against bad and sub-par teams. So far we've played 1 good team and 1 middling team - got shut out against the good team in the 2nd half and held on to a tie against the middling team.

Of course not

Dak has played well in the regular season most of his career

Daks problems are freezing up in the playoffs

Dak has played well in 3 out of 5 games this year .......... really well ......... but we are still 2-2-1

If Dak gets us in the playoffs and plays well there ........... he will have proven his doubters wrong.

He generally plays well coming out of the gate. That fades as we get closer to the end of the season with a steep fall off if we make the playoffs. At least that has been his trend over the last decade of football he has played. Now could this year be different? Has this offense added enough pieces so that you aren't stuck with a time when the game is in the dubious hands of Dak Prescott? Dunno.

Even now, you stubbornly refuse to give Dak credit.

Just be quiet. Embarrassing.

Most of the comments here are a darn embarrassment. I'm embarrassed for y'all. That's how bad y'all sound. Grown men who still can't give credit where credit is due for the franchise QB of your supposedly NFL team just because you personally don't like him. That's embarrassing.

It is pathetic.....but do you feel like talking about football but don't say EPA:thumbup::laugh:
