Just because he will be activated doesn't mean he has to play. The Cowboys opening the 21 day window just means he needs to be put on the active 53 before the three weeks are up.

Also, they wouldn't make this move if he wasn't ready. They could just wait and activate him later.

Dallas really needs all three of these games if they want to have a fighting shot for the playoffs.

Not saying it's impossible if they drop one or two of these, but the schedule gets tough down the stretch and it's hard to pick enough to get to 10 wins without getting to 6-3-1. These three games could very well make or break the season.

You still need to find 4 more wins to likely make the playoffs. You're not winning the division as a 6 win team.
