I was asked in a thread yesterday if I there were any Broncos defensive players I would trade for their Cowboys defensive counterpart straight up.

I said for starters Bonito and Surtain for starters.

That person proceeded to argue with me, saying that both were overrated.

Play Span Ford instead of Schoonmaker
Play Flournoy instead of Tolbert

Quit playing inferior players just because you spent a high draft pick on them.

NO! There's no simple fix for this defense this year. Don't make any panic trades. Ride it out and hope that our part time, hobby, amateur GM decides it's prudent to fix the defense in the off season.

If you can get a good linebacker or d lineman without giving up too much and they are under contract for a couple years, I say do it
