TRADED Schefter: Cowboys trade for Logan Wilson (7th round pick)

Just as I predicted, the usual suspects would crap on ANY trade the Cowboys make. It’s just who they are.

It’s a dumb trade. There is way too many holes and we are wasting draft capital. 3-5-1 this team should be selling not buying. I stated before the season started this was a 7 win team, looks like I’m spot on. Even for a 7th rounder, we need every single pick to try and fix this team.

Why would we want him? Season is done and he wants an extension. Thats most idiotic thing they can do with a 1st round pick. Go spend it on a guy who might only be here for 8 more games.

I would only want him if they can agree to an extension prior to a trade. However, knowing this front office....

I mentioned in the game thread last night, our defense looked like we were playing without linebackers on the field. Thats how bad Shemar James and Kenneth Murray are.

7th rounders are no more than practice squad bodies, I'd say 1/10 times they actually amount to something. Wilson was a captain on the Bengals which the cowboys could use some leadership on the field.
