Logan is a Wyoming mountain-boy-strong who ran a 4.62 when drafted. He is a huge upgrade over Murray. He has two weeks to learn the defense. He is a no risk player for a 7th round pick. He is faster and stronger than Sanborn, and has better instincts for the LB position than any of the stiffs playing so far. Jerry continuously makes a fool of himself to suggest the Boys made a great trade.

Well, they will probably be rotating based off packages. But if James is lost out there, rather he get sheltered year 1 so he doesn't form any bad habits or try to cheat his role trying to make a play.

They played better last night, and part of the problem is that the LBs are not filling the gaps. Hopefully Wilson will do a better job of that. Murray is NOT a MLB.

As long as the expectations are kept low, there is no risk to this. If he is a leader, hopefully, we draft a major need at LB, and the guy can become a leader on D. The last leader we had on D was also a LB

The season ended last night. They have less than a 5 percent chance of making the playoffs, and haven’t even played the hard part of the schedule yet.

Ray, last night was further proof that, while the DL has struggled at times, it’s basically been the LB’s that have killed the Run D - too many times last night did I see the DL attack the LOS properly, leaving the gaps open for the LB’s to attack…but they rarely did. Even if his play has fallen off, Wilson has WAY BETTER INSTINCTS than basically every LB they currently have.
