I don’t mind picking up solid/dependable players for 7th round picks or serviceable players for the defense for our players ie. Mazi Smith, Jalen Tolbert, Trevon Diggs, Sam Williams, Terrence Steele, Donovan Wilson and so on. Even signing an Asante Samuels Jr for the secondary depending on full health recovery. I’d love to get more picks and/or players that will solidify a defense for next year. Believe me, there is no this year. We’re going to have a top 10 pick. Maybe top 5.

BUT, The COACHES HAVE TO GO AS WELL!

Eberflus’s defense despite all the injuries, especially to the secondary, was already understood and is constantly exposed by the opposition. It’s such a prehistoric vanilla defense with no deception. Yes, this is being stated knowing clearly our defensive players are as low football IQ as it gets.

The offense needs a RT, it’s not Nate Thomas. The whole defense needs an overhaul.

But get rid of all these coaches, only keep the o-line coaches so that cohesion exists.

Cardinals defense was right there contesting every pass and screen as soon as it occurred. Our running game was there but Shotty didn’t stick with it and was constantly calling plays behind the 1 st down marker because everything was covered after that.

Cardinals got 5 sacks on Dak. 3 turnovers and created 4 fumbles cause they were there knocking on half the plays.

Bad play calling is why a coach shouldn’t be play calling. Cardinals also knew how to disrupt all of the timing of our schemes other than the running plays. Totally understood after the 1st drive.

The week before, Bronco’s even with Pat Surtain out half the game had us outright figured out.

I predicted in another thread we would receive a clear cut loss and it happened.
