TRADED Glazer: Cowboys trade for DT Quinnen Williams

I look at this as half of a Micah. If you can get 2 great players for 1 great player, then it's a good deal. We'll have to wait and see what the Cowboys do with the GB pick.

How? The Packers picks will both be late. The 2nd will be top 10 and our pick will probably be in the 15-20 range next year.

If we have a bad year in 2026, we just gave up more than we got for Micah.

Given their track record with drafting defensive tackles, they’re better off trading for a proven player.


This trade is more about next year than this year. I love it.

I was say this in their defense, they were close to drafting Nolen (supposedly the debate was Booker V. Nolen and Booker won) and Nolen looks like a stud

As I understand it the Jets will get the highest 1st round pick in 2027. Whichever it is.

If true, you usually don’t get this type of condition attached to a NFL trade.

Sounds like it’s an unprotected pick like in the NBA.

Maybe Clark will pick up his play with a stud next to him, Clowney at full speed, and EZE getting better. Overshown and Revel will be back after the bye, along with Wilson from Cincy…..maybe we can pick up our play. Probably too late for this season sadly.

Dexter Lawrence is the best DT in the league. There are three or four others after that, and Williams is one of them

He’s really good and the best DT we’ve had since the 90s

You are forgetting the paying Micah part as the highest paid defensive player in the NFL

Got all off-season to fix the LB and DB groups so you aren't giving up a top 15 pick in 2027.

Quinnen, Osa and Kenny Clark become a top 5 (??) DT trio.

Logan Wilson and Agent Zero just might fix LB.

For those complaining about not liking the pick because we are 3-5-1.

This pick is not for one year.

If it was, I would understand.

You are getting him for at least two years and that does not count extending him if they want or using the franchise tag.

This is the type of player most cowboys fans have been wanting for years. They have swung and missed at drafting Mazi and Trysten. Q Williams is not just good, he is Elite. Something this team has not had in years in the middle.

Cost is high, but it is because it is a damn good player and one that is arguably one of the best at his position.

I love this move. This is a type of movie that Jerry and Stephen have been afraid and too cheap to make in years.

You are entitled to your opinion, you can go on and not like the trade. But you should be happy. Getting a stud in the trenches.
