I think between Bland, Revel, Carson you have something you can start to build on. They some solid parts. I would say 7-8 of these guys will be starting next year and are an improvement over what we have seen most of the season.

But they crossed the 50 their first 5-6 possessions. They aren't world beaters. I'm not saying this D can't be great at some time but lets see some consistency the last games vs hanging banners after a 2 win team

This week will be a better test although the Eagles will be without Lan Johnson. I want to see how the Cowboys 3 DTs handle Jurgens and Steen in the middle f the Eagles offensive line. The Lions did a good job against them and the Lions interior Dl is not as good as the new Cowboys DL.

But, the problem in Dallas is still that pass defense. disguised by the Cowboys success, and the Raiders ineptitude was the fact there were wide open receivers downfield again. The Raiders had a number of successful plays over 15 years, even on some key 3rd and long situations. The Eagles have 3 good WRs and a good TE. Can the Cowboys cover all those guys? Can they rush Hurts without giving him wide running lanes?

We have a habit of overestimating the Cowboys after hey beat up a bad team. The Eagles are probably the best team in the league. If I were the Eagles I would throw the football, a lot against Dallas and make the Cowboys prove they know what they are doing on defense.

Agreed. I have never been the biggest Clowney fan but he seems to be playing hard and leading by example. Who knows, we might just create a group that likes each other & plays well together.

I was really impressed by several of his hustle plays.
