It was depressing watching him get burned like burnt toast earlier in the season right after paying him big bucks. But this week I saw the old Bland. Didn’t get the pick but there were probably at least 3 or so times when he was right there. Did ya’ll notice that too? Who was he covering? Was it poor receiver play or was it better safety play/better pass rush/better defense in general from the rest of the team? Gives me some hope that maybe even Diggs can look like a player again this season.

He was never washed.

Bland's been getting better for the past month or so even before Quinnen and Overshown

Hell he sure took one hell of a shower against the cardinals, but against the Raiders, OOOOOH man that cat was dirty as can be!!!!!! :muttley:

People forget that the entire unit needs playmakers at as many positions as possible.

I think what happened is Geno Smith. Geno played like the Geno we know and loved. Shotgun arm, ball within a 10 ft radius. And it was the Raidahs, can’t believe they managed to win two games.

But I still think he is best suited for slot CB. Works better when his back is not to the QB. And it was said earlier, defensive line pressure is a DB best friend.
