Definitely. This resurgence has me excited for next year even if we don’t make the playoffs. We have a lot to build on for next season. Also I’m cool with getting Schotty’s rookie coaching mistakes done and over with now as opposed to next year when we will contend in the NFC.

Vikings blown out at home and drop to 4-7
Chargers just got waxed 35-6 by Jacksonville
Washington is 3-8
Giants are 2-10

I'm sorry, but I just dont see the murders row that so many do here. We only have 1 remaining road game against a team with a winning record (Detroit). We should be favored in at least 4 of these games last 6 games.

Winning 5 of these is more than doable and that puts us at 10-6-1, should be good enough for wildcard. Why? There are not going to be seven 10-win teams in the NFC, so it would be impossible to win 10 and not get in.

Sorry but I've never agreed with this kind of reasoning. Momentum does not survive the seven-month offseason. Next season's success is determined by roster health, schedule difficulty, and offseason acquisitions—not by winning meaningless games in December.

Yep......and it shows Jerry what this team is capable of and worth going proper ALL-IN. The Brains Trust CANNOT let Pickens leave, the connection with Dak is undeniable (if we'd of stumbled into the end of the season Jerry wouldnt have the WHOLE fanbase forcing his hand).
Hopefully, this win invigorates Jerry as it has done us fans.

Im not being negative, however, it was the Bucc's Play-off 31-14, away play-off game and our expectations were sky high, only to come crashing down in SF.
The difference with the Eggs win, is that: expectations werent particularly high, we put to bed some of our recent demons (Run Defense. Pass-Rush particularly up the middle, inexperienced CB's stepping up , Dak's composure and us continuing to use a mixed Run/Pass Offense when over two scores behind).
Im with you when you suggested this is something to build upon and whilst it may be too late there was a lot of fundamental's that indicate that 2026's bright.

Yes we hit big on both those guys and we NEED to bring them back. Cut Diggs and Steele and trim whatever fat, but Pickens and JW need extensions. If I had it my way we'd already have those deals signed.

It’s not just reasoning or opinion driven as there is evidence supporting strong finishes do carry over not only in momentum but in how teams retain players and strategic moves to build upon current rosters.

Well, we aren’t favored against KC and won’t be at Detroit. Depending on how we do in those games will determine line against LAC. The rest against Minn, Wash and NYG we will certainly be favored.

In terms of the three wild cards Seattle look nailed on. That obviously leaves two spots.

Bears, Packers and Lions all play each other so that will get messy but you would think other than the divisional winner one of the others will get 10-11 wins.

The other team is the 49ers. They could also get 10-11 wins.

11 wins would get us in with the tie. 10 wins would give us a chance but might just miss out.

21 point comeback ties the franchise record for greatest in Cowboys history. And with any hopes of remaining in contention for playoffs on the line arguably the greatest win in several years.

This team has some fight left in it. After digging a hole with multiple turnovers early it was feeling like it was over at 21-0.

Defense shut down the Egirls after early in 2nd second quarter to hang on. Even after a very questionable 4th down failed attempt at the goal line where Cowboys chose not to take the lead with a chip shot FG with about 3 minutes left .

Fortunately defense made one more great stop to allow Dak to finish off a comeback for the ages.

Avoiding falling to 4-6-1 and basically all but ending the season the Cowboys have their first consecutive wins this season. And a win against the SB Chumps provides the confidence needed for this brutal schedule upcoming to stay alive and in contention for a playoff spot.

Amen. I think KC is beatable if the defense that played the second half shows up Thursday.

This was absolutely the signature win Dak has been lacking on his resume'. We finally beat a team that we shouldn't have beaten. That said, Dak has owned the NFC East for years sporting a 19-2 record. So, the KC test looms and might give us a better idea of what this team might do if it makes the playoffs.

Again.....we're in too much of a hole to engage in serious playoff conversations right now, but anything is possible. Let's just watch the diamonds surface (Clark on ST, the Parsons acquisitions, return of O, the play of Pickens, etc) and also watch the purging of guys that are not capable (examples such as Sanborn or Schoonmaker, etc) or having effort or availability t issues (Diggs), draft and another chance with FA, ......,then we get ready for 2026. Then we assess.

Eagles are very good but beatable as shown last night. That's the real shame to me. I love the Williams acquisition but just wish we also had Parsons on the outside to feast.

Maybe, I just think Jerry wouldn't have been looking to trade for Q without those extra first round picks and horrific defensive play. The loss of Micah was the catalyst for the trade.
