Gameday Menu

The usual thanksgiving food mostly smothered with red chile. Actually one of the few meals the MIL actually does a good job on.

Loading up the dry herb vape right now and gonna grab some brews (wife’s choice) on the way over.

Walking into a non football watching house. Went from watching in the bedroom to in the living room on mute to now having it on the with the surround sound.

It’s been a long 20 years.

I really miss my Moms cooking :( I miss both mum and dad. Hate getting old when everyone you loved has passed… :((

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
this is why it's so important to make memories...I was lucky, about 5 years before my mom died, I was very sought after...I was able to negotiate a contract that allowed me to go and come at my leisure, would have a 2 hour lunch with my parents about 3 times a week, never missed any of my daughters events....retired young to spend more time with dad. I see him about 6 times a week....not everyone is able to, fortunately, I was. Some make fun of me because I speak of my past career, I tell them, better to be a has been, than a never was....same goes with memories..cuando se trata de Familia, no chingen con migo!!! Lol, Salud!

A good friend of mine built me an offset smoker from a solid steel 50 gallon drum container. The thing weighs over 500lbs. Best smoker I've ever owned.
Lol...I know what you mean, we had to use a fork lift to load this sucker.....

I am having ham, vegetables, cheese, pickles, french fries, banana bread.

Snacks will be peanuts, lays chips, Fritos hoops, dark chocolate.

No alcohol. I live in Canada and alcohol is ridiculously overpriced.
Finally another ham person! I have a glazed spiral ham and have been smelling it cooking for 2+ hours. Pure torture

Center cut filets. Bud Light. Yes $35lb filets. Sorry I'm bragging and turkey tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving!
Bragging about $35 filets?

That sounds like shoe-leather type price.

A Whopper with Cheese cost like 10 bucks.

It's Thanksgiving... spend a bit and get some top shelf steaks!

I'm Canadian and our Thanksgiving is in October so no turkey for me today. It's a wings and nachos day.

Some years, we'll do a second Thanksgiving but we didn't bother this year.
So your early colony guys ate with the Indians a full month before our early colony guys did?

:lmao:

Nachos? Cinco de Mayo is in May....

You forgot the lb. $35 a pound(lb). Bought 8 steaks for $150 total.
