I mean, when you're 6-5-1, you've exceeded all expectations.

Most thought he was in over his head. Most thought he wasn't a capable NFL head coach. He is proving many people wrong.

Having said that, the new defensive additions have radically changed this team. When you can actually play defense it's going to make everyone look better.

I was not a fan of the decision to hire him. He is proving me wrong. He brings the fire and passion that this team lacked for a long time.

It makes sense, though, considering the offseason reports were that Jerry wanted Mike back more while Stephen and McClay liked Schottenheimer. I can see that Jerry was a little skeptical at first.

And BTW, no, I'm not saying BS is some great coach. He's just getting started and does several things I'm not a fan of. But I can see why people like him.

Admittedly, I didn't love the hire. But the players seem to be responding to him. I believe he has said all of the right things since they lost their teammate. They are now rallying around Schotty and their fallen brother.

Please stop playing the receivers at RB and go run the ** table!

he did have an all time type worse defense before the trades. he has shown, what this team can do with an average defense (middle of the pack)....no coach would have succeeded with the other defense....

• Yep, That. Seem to have answers, no more McCarthy "Duh" moments.
• No more clock management horse s%#*t Romo and them were about to call it out too not realizing refs had already given us our 10 seconds back in 4th quarter. Schotty on top of it.
• But what I like most is the energy. Not fake Garrett energy. Real freaking energy. I would want to play for him more than the last few coaches just by what I've seen on sidelines, in locker room, etc.

Love Shotty's offense and how he has legitimately brought the run game back. No lip service, he truly believes in it.

The trades were smart and impactful. J Williams, Q Williams, Wilson, Pickens, and the addition of Overshown are making a big difference. Even Revel is already coming around, and damned if Reddy and Bridges aren't giving them something.

Kicking stat garbage players like Parsons and Diggs off the team is also starting to pay dividends.

And Dak is playing well right now, no doubt. We'll ultimately see if he can do it in the playoffs one day.
