Twitter: Cowboys-Chiefs break TV Viewership Record

Times be tough.

Our best defense with other fans... "Oh yeah, well we get ratings!"

and, The entertainment the halftime show..Post Malone killed it.. I mean that is what the NFL is it's in the entertainment business and the entertainment business is in the making money business it's all reciprocal you have to make money to keep the league relevant imagine how much money they got because they predicted this was going to happen I'm wondering what it costs per minute for all these commercials and what not...

A LOT!. I mean TV money is the biggest driver in how we keep seeing the salary cap go up and up every year which allows players to make more money and we get a better brand of football It's a win win..
Ratings probably went down when Post came out lol.

I'm sorry man, i'm not a big fan of his, that dude's got a lot of range, and a lot of talent, and he's very popular..

you know he's from Grapevine, right ?so they all do that they tied the Lions game halftime show into Jack and Eminem both have ties to Detroit it helps boost ratings trust me..

you know you may not like the guy he's pretty popular... I think he did a great job going from one genre to the next just how smooth he was...

As seen by the Kraft comments in another thread, there's a lot of pettiness and jealousy among owners with millions already lining their pockets.
You would think that not many owners would be jealous of an owner that hasn't won much in 30 years, especially the owners that have gotten SBs within the cowboys 30 years of not winning one.

JR is grinning in his grave, in 1980, 83m American viewers watched him get shot and had everyone asking all summer, “Who shot JR?” It was a global phenomenon. The tenderfoots around here don’t relate, but if you lived through it, you know what I’m saying.

RIP Larry Hagman. Fellow Texan. TV icon.

The NFL should be doing everything in their power to have Dallas in the Super Bowl. Imagine the ratings versus KC, Buffalo, Pittsburg or Baltimore,
That has been a head scratcher that it seems like the league at every turn the way they're making schedules the officiating they've been purposely keeping the Cowboys out of the Super Bowl is their plan from the beginning bend this hold the Cowboys down for so long that when they finally do make it back It'll be the biggest story ever...hmm

Wow!!!
The brand is aging like fine wine....lol
By the way who you think will break the next record.... Just asking
Next year they'll probably give us the Rams or SF on Thanksgiving. That would work too.

Which is what makes the "NFL against the Cowboys" conspiracies so dumb.

I actually like his music. He’s just nothing special to me lol. I feel he makes recycle music but I enjoy it lol. I just don’t see him boosting ratings….i feel like his fans already watch anyway. The Taylor Swift audience is the one that doesn’t.

I think it's strictly the popularity and value of the team. They probably shake their fists at numbers like this one. Why? Why???!!!
