I think fans were deluding themselves if they thought Dallas was going to go undefeated the back half of the season. That's hard to do even for the best teams. I don't consider losing to Detroit on the road as choking.

We were wounded by roster early on (resulting in us losing to teams like the Cardinals and Panthers) and now we get to find out if those wounds were fatal.

The problem is the defense. Dak and the offense aren't going to play perfect football 4 weeks in a row. And that is almost what is needed with this defense.

But I don't see the eagles losing 3 more games, which is what is needed for the cowboys to have a chance.

And I would be willing to bet herbert will light this cowboys defense up.

The glimmer of hope was that the defense turned a corner after the trades and injured players coming back.

All that hope was dismantled Thursday night. The defense looked the same as it did the first half of the season.
