Prescott wins Bob Lilly award

It takes a second or two just to switch from one receiver to another. That's not including throwing the football to the other receiver.

With single coverage and no safety over the top the ball needed to be thrown to the post there

Thats a pre snap read against that look

As long as the o line gives you time (and the picture appears that they did) there's no where else that ball should be thrown on that play.
I would expect a 10 year vet to identify and make that throw

That said nobody is perfect and opportunities get missed. It happens. Not a slam, just reality

I just dont see why you can't admit the obvious. That Dak missed this one. Its OK to admit it....

I've got actual football achievements, other than you and your high school band awards. WR...TE...who gives a flip? It was a receiver. You are beneath me and always will be beneath me when it comes to football, flute player.

Ian Anderson may take exception to that.

Does anyone else see the irony in Dak winning the award named after the player whose handle here is the same…and who hates Dak’s guts? I think that’s quite funny.

I think its quite funny that just because a poster doesn't think Dak is the right qb for our team, you assume said poster "hates Dak's guts"

A lot of posters don't think Schottemheimer should be coaching the Cowboys. Nobody accuses them of "hating Brian's guts"

But with Dak's most ardent supporters, any criticism is automatically qualified as "hate"

It's alternately amusing and disturbing. But always entertaining

Once again, what you see on this still pic once the football was thrown does not mean there was not a Safety over the top. Show actual video. That would be more telling.

Open your eyes...he flupped up as usual. One read is usually wrong, and this was. But, that is our Dak. smdh

it's convenient for you to say open your eyes, and not provide the evidence we're asking. Where was the tight end when the pass was thrown? I ask again.

It was the tight end's fault, not Daks. Is that what you want to hear?

Don't ask me anymore. Open your flower eyes.

I dont have access to the video. Wouldn't know where to go to get it

But that said, the only other deep DB in the photo is 5 yards the other side of the goalpost

The deep left side of the field is completely unoccupied

If the protection broke down I would be more comfortable with your argument . But the linemen appear to be on their blocks. There's nobody in Dak's grill or hanging on his side

Maybe he heard footsteps or felt pressure that wasn't there. I don't know

But he either completely missed that read or came off it way too early. You don't usually see guys that open in the NFL.
