So what do we have here. A ping-pong themed gritty crime thriller, perhaps?

This is from one of the Safdie brothers - who did Uncut Gems and The Smashing Machine. Their hectic editing style and cinematography excites me, despite the fact I haven’t done cinema in years. I just like seeing something unique in today’s film making industry.

Starring the new Leonardo DiCaprio, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin O’leray and Tyler, the Creator (who is going by his real name for the film - he’s always been a bit of an actor).

I'm near the end of the book and it's so good. This movie is going to be EPIC. This and Odyssey are my most anticipated movies, even more than Avengers, Spider-Man, Dune or Avatar.

This looks like it could be pretty good but it always cracks me up on a planet of 8 billion people they are like the World is coming to an end but don't worry we put our best person on it.

Not to spoil the movie but in the book they make fun of that trope and he's not the only one they sent.

30 years later and I still recognize all the characters. Looks like they did the same thing as the recent Mortal Kombat. Stayed true to the characters, tried to make a half-presentable action movie.

Damn. 3x trailers in a row of movies I want to watch. Maybe Hollywood getting better next year. I'm down for any Harryhausen tribute from Christopher Nolan.
