If, when Dak is gone, the Cowboys have learned that it takes a team to win in the NFL and has built a good defense, then maybe they will be better, but I am 100% convinced that there is not a single QB that could have been to a championship game with the Dallas Cowboys. There are probably 5-6 that could win a few more games, but none that could have gotten this roster to the playoffs this year.

Silly fans who don’t understand the game well enough to realize that Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes don’t go to championship games without the right coaches, systems, and supporting casts are just too dumb to evaluate the team in any way but wins and losses being attributed to the QB. It’s frustrating to be around ignorance every week. So many armchair big shots who want to pretend they know how to win games.

The Cowboys are such a poorly run team with such a flawed roster that they only win games when Dak plays near an elite level despite not being an elite athlete. When Dak plays mediocre, which all QBs do during a 17 game season, they usually lose. If Dak has an actual off day, the Cowboys have zero chance of winning because the rest of the team isn’t capable. When Dakis out injured, the season is over. The same was true for Tony Romo.

We see the same thing with truly elite QBs like Burrow, Mahomes, and Jackson this year. We’ve seen the Bills lose when Allen has played poorly or even subpar.

Cowboys fans have a very good QB who is not an elite talent playing above his talent level through hard work and dedication, but despite poor pass protection from OTs and probably the worst defense the Franchise has ever put on the field, they love to put all their frustrations on him. Is he overpaid? Yes. Is that why the roster is so flawed? Absolutely not. You don’t have to like Dak; you don’t have to admire him; you certainly shouldn’t be deluded into thinking he is an elite talent. But if you think the Dallas Cowboys would be winning and making you happy with another QB, you really just don’t get it. I do not even want to see us ruin a talented young QB until the front office gets serious about building a winning team with talented coaches behind it.
