Our new head coach just finished his rookie campaign.

I dont know where his offense ended up ranking, but the defense was the worst defense ive seen on my life.

He also ok’ed getting rid of Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs so he deserves some blame on that side of the ball too.

What grade would you give “Coach shoddy”?

No second half offense.

Red zone offense still trash.

Most penalized team in the NFL. Again.

Anyone grading this guy above a D lives in a world where Game of Thrones had a fantastic final season.

C. After the poor offseason moves, this team wasn’t going to be good. I think he took some of the entitlement out of Dallas, which may help turn things around.

As HC he should've made the call to fire Eberflus. He's also a little too friendly with the players for my liking.

He didn’t make the call to hire the guy in the first place. Not a chance he could fire him.

So, you're suggesting it was bad that we we got rid of Diggs after he flat out lied to the team and literally graded out bottom of the league? You can't blame Shotty for signing him. Not sure you can hang the Parsons drama on Shotty either.

I'd give him a B or C+.

It's kind of hard to blame Matt Eberflus' performance on a man that had absolutely nothing with hiring him.

He wasnt bad……actually i think he was the right hire as much as i didnt like it at the time….his offense scored 471 points those are elite numbers

Hes not in the playoffs because of a defense that gave up 511 points

It has to be this.

This season was a total failure. You could say Schotty did a good job with the offense, but we've always had a good offense with Dak at the helm. And yet again, scoring points vs. bad points didn't end up doing anything for us.

The team was sloppy, undisciplined, weak, and frequently unprepared.

I'd fire him tomorrow and start over. No exaggeration--I think continuing with Schotty is as bad as continuing with Garrett.

So, by your logic it doesn't matter that his offense sits at the top of the league and performed well most of the season.

Perfomance on the offensive side of the ball, his area, communication with the QB, it just has no bearing on the conversation of a coaches merit at all.

An authority figure like yourself, plus by your account 31 other teams didnt't want him, so he definitely sucks as coach.

You're football logic is absolutely flawless. It just took me a minute or two to comprehend it all.

I will give him a slight bump to a D for getting saddled with Eberflus. He did better than I thought he would. I had us winning 5 games. But that's about as much praise as I can muster for him.
