Needed to happen. He was not good. He has been a good DC in the past. Lets not hide that there are much bigger issues. The talent has been eroding for several years. Two first round picks won't solve it. Jerry and son torpedoed any hope for success the past two seasons in both offseasons. That is the much bigger isssue. Don't let them off the hook. Now two years later with talent decreasing it may be too late.

They may find a better fit and should be better on defense. Hopefully it is coach Schotty calling DC's and not Jerry and son. Regardless, I am sure next year we will be back in the same spot with fans blaming someone else for another disappointing season.

Color me skeptical but I doubt this solves anything. Fundamentally this defense is broken and that had little to do with Eberflus.

You need to see a doctor.
