If Jerry would’ve made this move, people here would’ve said he’s a washed up coach who couldn’t even win with the MVP as his QB.
But the thing is,Jerry would never ever make this move.

John Harbaugh types don't interview for the HC of the Dallas Cowboys.

He's not what you would call a Jerry Jones comfort level personality so he would never even be considered as a prospective hire.

What’s the difference between him and Mike McCarthy? I get Harbaugh has a great reputation but people are forgetting be got fired because sucked. Or his performance sucked.

Two things can be true but he is also the best Giants coach ina long time.

I think John Harbaugh is going to impress upon Jerry the importance of coaching in creating a winning program in the NFL…not to mention the coaching staff he will put together.
The Giants will be bottom feeders no longer.

I'm not impressed by Harbaugh. A "CEO" style head coach who was given loaded roster after loaded roster, helmed by a 2x MVP quarterback, and never did anything with it.

The Ravens have had 10+ wins in 6 of their last 8 seasons, turned that into 6 playoff trips, and only appeared in one AFC Championship game. That's a nearly Cowboys level of playoff futility.

This could be an Andy Reid situation, where a new situation allows him to get over the hump. But to me it looks closer to a Pete Carroll situation, where the old dog just doesn't have any new tricks.

As far as the Giants, they gave Daboll more than enough chances to show that he wasn't the answer, so a change was due. But I'm not convinced that Harbaugh is their savior either. And for the Ravens, some kind of change was definitely due.

Yeah, it is not great but Harbaugh is the best coach Giants have in 10 years since Coughlin left

nearly? the cowboys havent sniffed a conference championship game in 30 years. I'd say 1 out of 8 isnt anywhere near 0 of 30.
It's not too far off! In an 8 year stretch from 2016-23, we had five 10+ win teams and got all five bounced by the divisional round. Harbs was more successful than us, but not by much.

He hired Parcells amd McCarthy, aren't they basically Harbaugh level?

The NFC East team best positioned for success is the Giants.

They got the starting QB, good WR duo when Nabers comes back, really good LT, good run game, loaded Dline…..they can trade back with their first and pick up a couple more D positions or OL and pick up a couple FA…..they can instantly be better than last year, especially of the coordinators end up being good choices.

That's the best hire anyone could make. He's a great coach. NFC East is going to get a bit more competitive.

This is like when Philly fired Reid and KC jumped in.

So we (Cowboys) are going to end up with the worst head coach in the division.

Are you happy with that, Cowboys Nation? There is your Schotty (worst head coach in the NFC East Division)!!!

Well we had the best in McCarthy and it didn't help, so why not go for tied for 3rd
