Well, I have to give the front office some credit with hiring their new Defensive Coordinator with Eagles Christian Parker.
I have been mocking this franchise for over a decade with always rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
At least this franchise didn't hire a "good ole boy" and actually went through an extensive search. They hired an young, upcoming coach. We don't know if this is going to work but it is different and was through.

Now to why I said "Loyalty" ????

Players or coaches are not loyal. They follow the money, first and foremost. Then, more so with the coaches, they want to climb the coaching ladder. Do I blame either one? No. If we were in their shoes, we would also.
But we are fans. We are the captain of the Titanic and go will go down with the ship. And we all know, this franchise has been laying on the bottom of the ocean ( on the field ) for decades. Fans are the ones who are loyal. Players/coaches are not. Player/coaches will cheat on you if the money and/or job offer is right. Fans will stay with their "spouse" until death due you part.

So let's hope Christian Parker greatly improves a horrible defense

Owners and GMs have no loyalty themselves

It’s a business

Coaches want opportunity first and foremost. So if they do well they are deserving of new titles and responsibilities. If the organization they are working for fails to see that, every right to move on to a better job. Coaches build their brand just like players do

The fact that they appear to be keeping our disastrous ST coach is one more indication that the claim of culture change is BS

it's funny how they follow the money, yet they say the same thing "it's not about the money, it's about respect" well $$$=respect these days

The fact that they appear to be keeping our disastrous ST coach is one more indication that the claim of culture change is BS. This is what they do. They fix one hole in the boat and 10 more continue to leak. Clown management. This is the result. Always reactive never proactive. Clueless and double down on stupid

If you didn't know that, you are way behind on the times.

NFL careers are short and can end at any time without warning. Of course they are going to follow the money.

Teams release players and fire coaches. So by your logic teams are not loyal either.

Do fans root for players and coaches after they leave their favorite team even when they play against that team with their new team? No, because fans are not loyal to players and coaches either.

As a man you are debted to your family and yourself. As a man your job is to do what’s best for you.

You don’t owe fans anything because fans only care about you when you are good. Fans wanted Lawrence out of here and those same people are saying now we miss him. Fans are fickle and don’t care about the person just the jersey or what the coach can do.

If you want true loyalty, get a dog.

As to improving the defense, the #1 factor will be if Jerry gets serious about buying high level talent for the defense via FA
Thing isn’t it ain’t much high level talent in free agency. It’s gonna take actually finding talent.
