QB's information processing at the line of scrimmage

It's why you need a franchise QB or you won't ever win in this league.

Lucky for us, we have the best in the biz. Well, he is paid like it anyway.
Sam Darnold and Drake Maye say otherwise. There are many different ways to skin a cat. Having an elite qb isn’t the only way to get there. Neither Darnold nor Maye are elite.

That is why anytime someone boasts about how big and strong and fast a QB is; how strong his arm is, you have someone that is a football moron
Two of the greatest of all time Tom Brady and Peyton Manning were not great athletes at all. Neither had a cannon for an arm.
They were statues.
most of the biggest busts at QB like Jumongous Russel had cannons for an arm were big and strong and fast but had nothing between the ears

The ability to think clearly under pressure and also FAST is very rare. and even there there are degrees of that ability

And that's the reason most QBs fail. An NFL QB has to make a thousand little reads in nanoseconds. A very rare trait.
I remember the late Bill Walsh said how fast a QB releases the ball was a priority trait. It tells him how fast the QB was processing tons of information on any given play.

Imagine having to process all this information and have a DC take away your 1st or 2nd read....... :banghead:

THAT is Tom Brady and Joe Montana and Mahomes.
They are the gold standard for elite because they DO it when the D is at its best

The late Denny Green used to brag about having a QB-friendly system..........especially during Randy Moss years. I wonder what he meant.......

He’s been awful in the postseason
Incorrect.

His last game...not so good...but zero interceptions...is a good stat. He certainly didn't lift the Pats heroically...but he didn't bury them either.

The other two games were from decent to very good. The only thing I saw was the 3 ints against Houston. The 270 yards against LA is impressive for a rookie 1st playoff game.
179 yards passing and 3 turnovers is excellent. And I’m the idiot hahahahah

Hahahahahahahahaha
I wouldn't say you're an idiot. I'd say you're trying to protect another QB..:flagwave:

Maye is SO terrible...but there he is in the Super Bowl. As a rookie...doesn't matter how good the rest of the team..you HAVE to be at least so-so...not "terrible".
