2026 NFL offseason: Trade proposals that fit for both teams

Bengals address their lackluster defense

Bengals get: DT Kenny Clark, 2027 seventh-round pick
Cowboys get: 2027 sixth-round pick

The Clark era might not last long in Dallas. Acquired as part of the Micah Parsons deal, Clark's contract was a relative bargain in 2025, given that the Cowboys were on the hook for only his $1.3 million base salary and another $1 million in per-game roster bonuses. Clark wasn't single-handedly able to fix Dallas' defense, but he also wasn't the problem.

Not only no, but hell no. That is just giving him away. He is worth more to the Cowboys than that. Just re-do his deal and not create another hole that needs filled this year.

That trade is just making a trade to say you are making moves. It's not accomplishing anything.

That’s insulting.

Feels like an anti-Cowboys dig more than any legitimate trade.

They'll probably just redo his contract and go on from there. He was a solid addition last season

Silly trade. That’s essentially cutting him. All you realky gain is the cap space

Here is Chase calling out the Bengals poor defense. Clark is a player they could certainly use. My question is what's the min you take in a trade? 3rd, 4th ????

I agree. If the Cowboys are moving Clark, I wouldn't take less than a 4th or a player for player swap.

Also with the likely 3-4 move the Cowboys can use Clark as the nose tackle with Quinnen and Osa the ends.
