Nakobe Dean may have to settle for a prove-it deal

Dean and Blankenship have flaws but I’d be fine with them on the right deals ; they know the scheme, they are professional and good locker room guys. Have played in big games.

We need guys who know where to be, know where others should be, can communicate that to the others and their price points line up with what I think Dallas would actually pay as I do not see them paying 14,15m for a stud linebacker.

Exactly .........not paying them a ton of money, but they are valuable pieces to have.

Same here.......my understanding is his leadership is off the chart, and he's like a 2nd coach on the field. I would be really surprised if he's NOT a priority target for Parker.
I have heard that the Eagles are worried that their two leaders on defense could depart-Dean & Blankenship. Wouldn't surprise me if both end up as Cowboys. Neither will ever be considered stars, but they are quality role players that allow the stars to shine.

LOVE that guy - I think he played out of position in KC, yet played the SAM very well. I still see him as downhill ILB like he was @ Wisconsin...where he played that role EXTREMELY well.
You would think Jim Leonard will recruit him to the Bills as he had him in college.

Got to say I'm not on board signing a LB with injury issues. Especially when our best LB is made out of glass.

This is the type of player Jerry loves to sign.
Will we see the self proclaimed New Jerry pass, or fall into the same old boat.

If they give him Jerry's favorite one year prove it deal, it best be cheap with incentives for him to meet to make the full contract.

A one year prove it deal, at the right price would be very low risk. It also gets you a guy on the field who already knows the system or a version of it

Pass. Go after Devin Bush. If anything I would go after Reed Blankenship.

Also, I heard Alex Singleton might be available. He's been a productive linebacker in Denver's defense.

Well, Baun's the leader on D. I love Nakobe Dean, he's a disruptor, excellent pass rusher and good cover guy on TE's. I hope the Iggles resign him, especially if he's gonna have to do a 'prove-it' deal.

If I'm Parker, I'm pounding the table for him.

Don't understand the love for Blankenship on here. Yes, he's far outperformed his UDFA status. But he's a liability in pass coverage. Sound familiar?

I don’t want anyone that wants to be in or stay in Philly
