What kind of Defensive Identity could we have under Parker?

Are we an all to the ball and make plays, are we about stopping the run, getting pressure on the passer to help the secondary, are we going to be a bend but don't break, will we blitz often, will we see a lot of man coverage or zone (we complained about not seeing enough man coverage from our previous coaching staff on defense)???????


So many things to think about, it's exciting to see how things will be. You'll say to yourself "damn Coog can we have practice first, maybe fill out the roster before we think about this??" That's up to you, but for now, please give me your thoughts!!!!!

man this defense needs to win in EVERY aspect of defense. Getting off the ball, stopping the run, knowing your assignment, shooting the right gaps, contain, form tackling, coverage, effective blitzing, coverage!!!!

These are traits where defense starts and ends

Well, last season the Eagles defense gave up the least passing TDs in the league and were 3rd in stopping touchdowns (run or pass) in the red zone, allowing a touchdown less than 45% of the time. I'd just hope to see a major improvement in that.

I want a defense that's solid, consistent against the run and pass, makes few mistakes and tackles reliably like every play wins the game.
