Uh, that's b/c, if the Cowboys did it, it would be a bad move.

The Rams saw it as addressing perhaps the one issue that kept them from the Super Bowl. It made sense from their perspective.

The 'Boys need lots of upgrades. Trading all those draft picks would have made no sense.

I kinda think that the Chiefs plan to rebuild, and not for 2026. Mahomes has become more mortal and injury-prone. Their receiving corps is below-par. Plus, there are holes on the o-line. RB's can't run if everybody knows they're gonna run.

I really wonder whether Andy Reid plans to hang around for the rebuild.

There is no talk of rebuilding around here. They are loading up for a return to the playoffs and beyond this year.

They still think they will have a roster by the season opener that can take them to the super bowl.

Could be. On balance, I think the Chiefs made out real well b/c the Rams were fixated on addressing their CB problem. It's just--I think we're seeing a declining Mahomes, and that's not something that comes with an easy fix.
