Archer: LB search continues

We can't. It was too important to win meaningless games at the end of a lost season.
If you had a son playing for a new contract for another team, or an older son who whose playing days are numbered, you'd want him to end his career on a sour note, losing on purpose so the team he might not be one the next year gets a better draft pick, while showing his future coaches that he's a quitter?

Said it before and I'll say it again.Give me Bobby Wagner. I know what I'm getting with Wags, production and someone I can trust out onthe field and don't have to break the bank acquiring him.

Dont over think this Jerry

My point was maybe trade back and pick up a 3rd, and still able to get him with that second pick. I’ve seen him projected like late 2nd into 3rd round.
He'll go before that. Where I'm not sure, but does it matter? Somebody's going to want him and will trade up to get him at some point. Dallas gets screwed by that all the time.

They need a middle linebacker badly, so if they like him, take him at 20. Players about 18-35 are often all pretty much the same anyway.

Our number one team problem is LB, and as usual our FO doesn’t care. They fooled all of you with the “we are in on Max BS” when they never were. Now they won’t pony up 12APY for Dean or Walker? Business as usual in Dallas

Defiantly not opposed to taking him, but I’d try to trade back a little to get a third since we don’t have a 2nd or 3rd. I think he would still be there. Haven’t watched a ton on him, but sounds like the prototypical middle LB and would be good next to Overshown.

I'm sure you thought you made a good point here.

At least for the 3-4 games Overshown plays.

He’s getting ancient lol. HOFer easy, but how much does he have left? Especially at THAT position…it’s not QB with not as much wear and tear.

Quincy Williams chose the browns instead of here playing with his brother….wow.

We're better off without Dean. The first time he high fived Overshown after a play they both be out the following week with a stress fracture in their hand.
