But my comment is to the simpletons who belch out Go Cowboys! in support of winning a game and improving their record to 6-9. The season is lost. That win is a loss. It only hurts you. As you should be able to tell in this draft.

The reason why the Cowboys won't be able to draft Caleb Downs or Sonny Styles or Reuben Bain Jr. next month is because they won a few meaningless games in a season that was never going to go anywhere.

35 is old to your average Joe. Not to an athlete who trains everyday. He basically prime age to what we consider "Grown man Strength"

Production is still there "top 5" inthe NFL in tackles and wasn't on a trainer's table like Trey Hendrickson. This move wouldn't deter me from drafting a linebacker for the future but it does provide me veteran leadership at a position where we need instant production inthe worse way.

Exactly. They actually had a Plan B in place for Crosby with Gary as well. And they spent money on a safety for the first time in twenty years.

Coming out of day one with two defensive starters isn't a lot for most fans, but a year ago the Cowboys opened free agency by re-signing the frickin longsnapper.

The Cowboys were more aggressive early this year. Maybe not to the degree many wanted, but this is still more.

Tanking is unethical. I would be ashamed to call myself a fan of this team if the team lost on purpose. Especially if I paid early in the season to go the game. Mike Singletary said you can't win with losers. And a coach who would listen to the owner whose telling him to tank is a coach who probably would bet on his own team to lose. I don't want a coach like that. It's crazy for me to think that the great Risen Star is a quitter. Mountaineer, yes. How far in life have you gotten by quitting?

So the players and coaches are simpletons too since they were happy to win those games that were meaningless to YOU?
