Safer picks. They do tend to develop faster than edge rushers. My dream woukd be one of downs, Delane or styles but non of them could be there

Downs and Thompson would be excellent. Thieneman would be as well. Hopefully they take the best player on the board.

Gary replaces Clowney and of course Kneeland. Young pass rushers take time to develop. The two first round picks look like corner and linebacker to me.

Right now. I think we'll still add a mid-quality starting linebacker because of the interest we've shown. Haven't read much about us looking at corners in free agency, so that definitely might be a first-round interest. Maybe corner with one of the two picks and then linebacker, DE or safety with the other, depending on how the round falls. For instance, if Delane makes it to 12, you address one of the other spots at 20. If Downs, Bailey/Bain or Styles falls to 12, you address corner at 20 with Terrell or Hood.

Some common sense. Some content creators are going on about WR, RB and OT in the first round. S...M...H. Gary and Thompson should in NO WAY be seen as the finished product. It's a good START but there is more that needs to be added on that side of the ball.

Even though I wanted Crosby, primarily because I didn't think we'd do anything closely resembling that, it is nice to still have the two picks to spend on defense. Gives us some leeway where we don't have to fix everything in free agency. We've add two expected starters on that side of the ball and will add two more with the first-round picks.

Corner and LB can both be selected day one and should give us instant upgrades.

Its edge that may be more tricky, unless Bain falls. I think we definitely need to get one more out of the 3. LB and corner are both deep enough i do believe we can rely on the draft. Of course that may put is in a position where we take slight reaches, but not having a day 2 pick will do that.
