This FO makes me laugh. Pay OSA like he’s your guy. Then trade parsons for Clark and bring in Q.

Hilarious
You do realize it is a new defensive scheme that they are implementing which doesn't really fit Osa. They signed him to his deal last year with a completely different defensive coordinator and style which obviously didn't work out.

Parsons was traded for Clark and two first round picks.....we end up out of that with Clark, Williams and whatever the remaining first rounder brings. While Green Bay gets Parsons who now is coming back from a major injury and still is a one trick pony. Green Bay is shedding talent all over the place....hardly seems like the trade for Parsons is going to put them over the edge for anything. They are pretty much rebuilding.

They pretty much had to pay Osa after missing in Smith. Thin at the position and weak DT FA class
They had to pay a lesser player because they drafted smith.

It’s on them. That’s the point I’m trying to make. I’m just exhausted and can’t do it properly lol

Why are they on a new defensive scheme?

Who hired Eberflus?

This is because of their mistakes.

And posters like you make me laugh. Osa had played well enough to get that contract, and a bunch of people were very happy when it happened. Then, the decision to trade Michael happened very late… you think they went out and and said… damn, we need to make that move for Clark? No, they made the best deal they could and Clark was the best player they could get in a deal for draft picks. Quinon comes available at the trade deadline, and we needed defensive line help bad and got one of the best interior d lineman in the game….. a damn good trade.

Not complaining about the trades.

You think osa deserved 80 million?

LAst year he and Milton Williams were considered on a similar tier, had similar stats and both got similar money. It's what the market would bring. I think none of them DESERVE the insane money they get, but Osa's contract was not out of the expected range.

A quick google search found this:

Grade on Osa deal

Also an A- from Sporting News, and ESPN said his deal wasn't unreasonable in a hot DT market.
