Crosby had a full meniscus repair on January 7th. The timeline for a recovery is 3 to 4 months. Supposedly Crosby was ahead of schedule. It’s only been 2 months so of course he wasn’t going to completely pass a physical. The Ravens should have known this. Sounds like they were having buyer’s remorse to me. They had to know he wasn’t fully healed. The timeline suggests he should be fully healed by April 7th to May 7th.

Yeah, I read now that it was medical. I guess the Raiders were disappointed but the Ravens had every right to cancel the agreement.

Except--if the Ravens were well aware of the condition and the physical didn't reveal that the condition was worse than advertised, then I think they indeed backed out.

In that case, the act of backing out could indeed be interpreted by the NFL as being an act contrary to being in the league's best interests.

To once again be Captain Obvious, we haven't heard the last of this. Not by a long shot.
