Probably a DeMarcus Lawrence-level defender, but many fans will hate that because we don't have the rest of the Seattle Seahawks defense to make that good enough.

I think it's a poor plan to just count on draft picks. There's a couple of threads out there about how we fared in the last five drafts. You need to prepare your roster like you are not depending on any draft pick and then give the draft picks the chance to beat out vet competition. You need depth anyway because of injuries.

We will find out what Gary's got when the pads come on, that is as simple as that. I just hope that Parker gets to build this defense the way he wants it, that way succeed or fail, he got to build this defense his way. Then we will know what Parker can do and what he can't. I am surprised that Dallas has not signed at least one free agent linebacker, however. I am hoping for the clown show of Ol Jerry to be a thing of the past with better more sound football related decisions being made overall.

Huge knock on Gary is consistent effort. Parker has to prove his scheme will work and his knowledge will transfer as a DC but getting players to play hard for you is a skill if he can get that from Gary it’s a massive win

Kenny clark will put him in his place, Gary seems genuinely happy to be in dallas with KC and CP.

Having someone like Styles can really change our defense. I think he goes top five. To get him, we would need to trade up. If he is still there when it’s Cleveland’s turn, I would try to trade up to get him.

I would also consider getting Kyle Lewis in the third round. Gosh, I wish we had more second- and third-round picks.

I would also trade with the browns; Styles would catapult this defense into top 15-20 range with just 1 addition.

Maybe Lewis is who they target in the 3rd, i could possibly see Rodriguez or Hill Jr in the 3rd.
