Haven’t found an explanation yet

I thought it might be AI but I found another pic that shows it

Trouble is, he's coming back from an injury this year. I don't blame players for getting injured in a physical game, like some seem to do, but I'm not sure about the wisdom of counting on them to return healthy.
What injury?

He played in every gsme last year, 73% of all defensive snaps

Are you thinking of Locke?

He had spinal fusion in Jan 25 but played in 16 games last year

You can't tell another person they don't understand football and in the same sentence try and defend Donovan Wilson LMAO. He's always been a weak link on defense and people (like you) see him make 1 big play every 6 games and get a hard on for him.

And read the comments. If we used him right as an in the box attacking safety he is very good like I said, you don't know football.

McCoy has the wrong agent. Essentially reg flagging himself.
I don't think that's necessarily true. Caleb Banks just got hurt at the combine. It makes sense for McCoy to minimize risk of injury. He does well at his pro day and he'll be right back in the mix.

@ratkinson thompson and Durant
I'm talking about how the cowboys have been built by this FO over the past 30 plus years.

The skull dragging that GB put on the cowboys in the 2023 playoffs is a perfect example. It showed me and many in the fanbase how soft this team is, both mentally and physically.

That was a total team collapse that was caused by the FO's inability (or will ) to assemble the talent needed to contend. Signing retread and inexperienced coaches and former 1st round busts as starters aint gonna get it done.

Not sure i have enough faith left that Jerry is gonna give our new DC the dawgs he needs to hunt.

As I've stated before in a previous thread: "I was born and raised in the state of Missouri."

I mean I agree with you which is why I feel the way I do about Lewis. Lewis was apart of these collapses too….as was D Law and Micah. The offense has some dogs on the offensive line that have the ability to bully. I feel we need that on defense. They needed a makeover on defense….

Probably. The slot in both Eberflus's and Parker's schemes seems to be a very physically demanding position, so I'm not sure it's good to put a corner whose last two seasons have been cut short by injury in that position.

Some have mentioned that he could even use a safety like Jalen Thompson in the nickel spot.

I do think Eberflus wanted to use Bland in the slot more than he actually did simply because none of the plans at outside corner (Elam, Diggs and Revel) worked out well.
Yup.

Eber called off cover zone almost every play.

5-10 yd cushion

Not drinking the kool aid on our db room. We need a dog. In a passing league you better have a deep db room.
I think they will be solid.

Bland, Durant and Revel will get outside snaps.

Steward and Thompson will get slot snaps.

Carson and Butler are solid depth.

Hooker, Thompson and Locke are all good safeties

Steward was the best of the worst. He CAN NOT be our best cb again. If so it will be a very long year.

Durant should push Steward to CB 4 or 5. If the Cowboys can live with Durant and Revel outside Bland can go back to the slot. Also, Jalen Thompson played a lot of slot in Arizona.

Its asking maybe too much IMHO. I'm talking about Revel. I'd like to see us aquire an alpha dog at cb and let Revel be the 3rd or 4th cb.Bland is an unknown. Will he be functional? If so, put him at slot cb. He's best there. We can hide him if you will, in slot.
