1. Quennen - strong 3 years
2. Dak - strong 2 more then just retire already
3. Pickens - couldn’t be iffier. Probably should get a pick and be done with it.
4. Aubrey - get a pick. This franchise needs a miracle.
5. Cd - probably not strong . I can totally see him in a lot of other uniforms. If anyone is reading this post still…which uniform came to your mind first ?

The only team that doesn’t have a place kicker under contract is the Dallas Cowboys. Obviously no team intends to trade for one.

I think there is potential for a few players to leap that list.

Occasionally, we get the opportunity to witness a breakout.

Some young defensive players could potentially surprise us. It could be that the 3-4 defense unlocks some skill sets we were previously unaware of.

My first thought is obvious. Rookies like Ezeiruaku, James and Revel could make a huge jump in their 2nd seasons. Toia could turn out to be a monster NT at 6'2 340 LBS.

On offense, there is the possibility that all Jayden Blue really needed was familiarity and another offseason, healthy this time. perhaps the same is true of OT Alanui Cornelius. It would be something else if we got our next great OT and didn't even realize it.

And what kind of chance did the 2024 draft class really have to show who they are last season? With a different DC in both of their first two seasons, some defensive 2nd year players couldn't be effective.

I still have hope for guys like Liufau and Carson.

The Cowboys have WR HOFers that were 7th round draft picks and even a free agent. Perhaps we have only seen Flournoy graze the surface of his potential.

Of course, there is also the unpredictable. How many years would we have given Kneeland?

Unexpected breakouts do occur. I don't think many of us saw Jay Ratliff or Rayfield Wright coming.

Predicting the trajectory of a player's career is a tricky business. very few remember when you are right. They all remember when you are wrong.

The his is one of the most optimistic, hopium filled comment I’ve seen in awhile

I appreciate your enthusiasm

Once Dak leaves, this team will be in turmoil for many years to come. Also, Stephen is going to be worse than his dad.
Once Dak leaves maybe things get better and we get to see how another QB can lead us, may even lead us to the big one

That list to me look like a pretty good group of players that can win games.
Stay healthy, get the right schemes going.

We seen how they did on offense. On paper on defense including an entire (or almost) new coaching staff.

Look at it fro the bright side. AND YES THERE IS ONE. Instead of always looking for negatives.

Stop the Hatium.

It doesn't come from Texas it comes from the origin of the Cowboys Zone.

It counters Hopium and Copium.

Well, since I am in Texas and in the DFW area, I guess technically it does. :muttley:
