They would laugh at that. They would want 12 and next years 1st along with CeeDee Lamb (instead of Pickens). They still might want another pick like a 2nd or 3rd.
Yeah but didn't you hear ..that just because we tagged Pickens that other teams now are dying to give us two 1sts for him, even though a year ago they wouldn't even give a 4th rounder?

What two players are you getting better than Myles Garrett, even collectively? And just remember who’s drafting them and how long it’s been since we’ve won a championship.

Yeah, and I can say I want £100m and a Ferrari delivered to my door. Doesn’t make it happen.

The Browns have very little leverage here. There’s even a no-trade clause, meaning Garrett can basically dictate where he wants to be traded.

He’s 31 come the start of the season, he’s obviously keen to move on, and he’s always made no secret of his desire to be back home in Dallas - even prior to Cleveland drafting him.

He will obviously still be worth a good haul for them, but they’re not going to get Herschel Walker part 2.

Pickens and 20 should get it done, imo. Throw in a day 2 pick next year if we absolutely have to.

How about 5 players over 1 player.
And Dallas is considered one of the better drafting teams over the past 10 year.

Can you convert that to dollars for us?

Just kidding

Overall we’ve been pretty good at drafting but the last five years not as much. Hopefully we can get back on track.

Oh dang it. Someone’s gonna say that I love everything the cowboys do because I didn’t make a completely miserable statement. Sorry to the ones that I triggered.

It's funny how we under value our players and over value everyone else's.

I recall everyone saying we would not get 2 firsts for Micah.
The exact opposite is true

Our dumb fans year after year think every one of our players is so desired by every team that they're just dying to throw their draft picks at us
.I heard our kicker with The Yips was gonna get us a first

Trade injured Overshown for a first.

Trade the one pump chump WR that only plays when he wants a new contract for TWO firsts.

Trade choke artist Dak for two firsts

LOL

Then...NONE of that will happen...yet the same dopey fans will start it all over again next year

Stating we’ve done better than the Browns doesn’t mean I accept 30 years of futility or just seasons over .500. Or even one and out in the playoffs. You’re the second person since yesterday to put words in my mouth. I mean what I mean and not what you think I mean.
Oh, you don’t have to say anything. The fact that defense of this garbage FO is all you wrote tells us exactly who you are

He’s great. If you’re the Rams or 49ers or Lions giving up the house, the car, and the fondue set for him might make sense. They have reason to believe they’re close to a realistic chance at getting to the next Super Bowl.

The Cowboys have to build a better roster before making dramatic deals for guys like Garrett.

Jerry will never get 2 first for Micah because they will then have to pay him $40M+.

How did that work out?

True but Cleveland didn't have the #1 offense in the league......
We are missing a lot of pieces on defense. Giving up draft capital and not having 2nd round pick and signing bunch of JAGs again, will leave defense in shambles yet again. And given pickens contract situation. Not sure what his attitude will be. NFL is year to year. No guarantees offense will be as good or as explosive.

no, no, and no no. As great a player as he is, we need lots more than him. If the Browns trade him, it will be to a team that is one player away. If I were the Bills, I would make several calls...
