FEATURED Free Agency 2026 thread

Why should we care or be outraged over how other teams sign free agents?

Kind of wierd to think there should be any outrage by fans from another team honestly. Or were you just trying to stir up a stupid narrative? Don't answer that, we already know.
It was a joke.
Because fans on here are outraged when Dallas signs players to 1 year contracts. But never say a word when other teams do it.
It is a bit of hypocrisy.

I don’t care much for ot either, except in a few instances, But when you have a lot, where you have 20 plus players that are FA”s from it. How can you maintain a core team for depth.

Bobby Wagner and Germaine Pratt are walking the streets. Kick the tires or wait til after the draft?
I'd prefer Brooks at this point and I personally don't like waiting until the draft. This D has got to get a MLB that's worthy of wearing the green dot and can stop the run!

The large number of one year deals are just "hole patching" so the team is not forced to draft at a specific position. As we all know, drafting for need leads to reaching and to leaving better players at other positions on the board. So far the only area left unaddressed is linebacker, but at least we know they tried to get one.

The issue with the Cowboys is their free agent activity always tends to be one year band aids. Sometimes they work out (Javonte Williams) but most of the time they are gone after one season or less.

Unfortunatley the Jones Boys see Rashan Gary and Jalen Thompson as "big" moves. And while I am happy with them both, of course the fan in me wanted more.

Not trying to pick on Hamlin but I got questions. What's he ever done besides nearly be unalived in a live game? Football wise, what does he bring to the Bill's? Hold a great clipboard? Lockerroom guy? I dunno I'm just asking

More is coming. Most believe a veteran linebacker is coming. They just don't know how the draft will fall to them. It's frustrating and yet fun as well. It's going to be very difficult to get everything thing they need, but they can get a lot of it.

Having seen the light at the end of the tunnel or a glimpse of the "72 virgins in Heaven", hes now been deemed to culturally important to cut.
