Indiana CB D'Angelo Ponds runs in the 4.2s at his pro day

I like him but I suspect they'll want more size at nickel in our new scheme. Sometimes you have to just get guys that can play and adapt though too.

Really like him , not sure he fits CP idea of a bigger nickel type player but he can stay outside imo...

If we traded down into the 2nd, he is good value there to me.

I know the guy is small but he is one hell of a player, and I’d take him on my team any day.

If he would’ve been in last year’s defense he wouldn’t have been sulking around taking that ****.

He’d have been in people’s faces, and hitting some people.

Deep solid corner class. Safety, LB, Edge and DT also.

Lots of people saying this is a weak class, but not for defense.

If we can somehow get into the 2nd sign me up.

Gives me JLew vibes.

Yeah perfect for a team who sucks on defense. Not having a second is crucial this year.
We stink at drafting in the 2nd round but that's where you can find good LB's and safeties and sometimes hit on a Diggs (only to get scammed after the 1st contraact).

We can probably scoop a 2nd if we trade back. But picks 20-55 definitely have a good value for talent.
