As fans realize there's no incentive for a current HOF, three time Super Bowl owner who's in their mid 80s to win another SB, there's a little known fact that could compell his son to win another.

There are only two father and son HOF owners. Those franchises are the NYG and the Stealers. The second generation went on to win multiple SBs which propelled them into the HOF.

I believe Steven is that guy who wants a place in the HOF so he'd better get a move on because he's pushing 60. If he can win multiple SBs under his ownership, he'd be a first ballot, minus any scandal.

Only problem is, don't expect another SB while Jerry's above ground.
 
Man with all the problems with Jerry's mgmt style and business agendas do we all actually have the bandwidth to contemplate what Stephen would be like as the owner?

I don't. Right now I am trying to cross one bridge at a time. I'm having trouble trying to cross the 2026 Cowboys season with Jerry sitting at the toll booth entry to the bridge.
 
When Jerry passes but nothing changes it’ll become clear that Stephen has been running things for some time now.

Yeah Jerry is given his way at times to appease him, often to the detriment of the team (Lance, Mingo), but he doesn’t go against the kid….and the kid thinks cheap draft picks are the way to go. Never mind that it’s been proven impossible to draft well enough to make that work.

Many of us hold out hope that things will change when Jerry goes, but I’m not so sure.
 
I'm hanging onto the hope that once Stephen is the owner, he'll hire a team president/head of football operations. One thing for certain is that Stephen is MUCH lazier than Jerry and doesn't like the daily grind. As a fan, I can handle Stephen being cheap, I just can't handle him being involved in the football aspect of things.

This is my hope as well. Stephen does not appear to enjoy being as hands-on as Jerry and that gives me hope he will hire an actual GM.

Stephen was born into this position and didn't have to work a day in his life to get here, so it makes sense that he's lazy.

I agree about Stephen not wanting to put the work in
problem is his interfering even if we do get a GM

Our only hope is a money dispute over Jerry's estate forcing a sale of the Cowboys.
 
Jerry Jones has every incentive to win a Super Bowl, that's what this was all about.

Jerry's whole mission since 1993 is to prove to the NFL that he is a legitimate NFL personnel expert. He has always felt slighted that Jimmy (deservedly) got all the credit for those Super Bowls, eve the one in 1995.

Jerry Jones want exclusive credit for a Super Bowl victory, the only thing he can't go out and buy.

well if he doesn't, it's time to get the guy that's consulting with Miami in here to do the job!!!!

Stephen is more interested in preserving his inheritance. Prove me wrong.....

He's earned the title as the cheapest arse the NFL has ever seen. He's a guy who stands to inherit close to 20 billion when daddy kicks it and won't spend a dime on improving the team.

I don't think he gives a damn about a super bowl or the HOF, his motivation is $$$
 
I truly believe that both Jerry and Stephen are woefully inept and don't deserve their positions.

When Jerry enters heaven or hell, Stephen had best hire a competent GM to serve this team!
