What is this "hope" you speak of?
He’s even dumberer….Stephen is Jerry 2.0 and actually, he may be worse.
In terms of involvement yes, but I think the difference is Jerry has shown he isn't afraid to take a swing, while his son is more conservative. I do think the Cowboys haven't spent much in free agency because Stephen now has more influence and doesn't like spending in free agency.Stephen is Jerry 2.0 and actually, he may be worse.
Jr hates spending his inheritance; as regards pure greed he is right up there with the Walton bratsIn terms of involvement yes, but I think the difference is Jerry has shown he isn't afraid to take a swing, while his son is more conservative. He's probably already tired of living in daddy's shadowStephen is Jerry 2.0 and actually, he may be worse.
I felt the same way until I researched the father son ownership dynamics. When Jerry passes but nothing changes it’ll become clear that Stephen has been running things for some time now.
Yeah Jerry is given his way at times to appease him, often to the detriment of the team (Lance, Mingo), but he doesn’t go against the kid….and the kid thinks cheap draft picks are the way to go. Never mind that it’s been proven impossible to draft well enough to make that work.
Many of us hold out hope that things will change when Jerry goes, but I’m not so sure.
Well none of us are sure what will happen, although some hold out a great deal of hope.I felt the same way until I researched the father son ownership dynamics.
Geez you are delusional dynasty hope what are you thinking. As fans realize there's no incentive for a current HOF, three time Super Bowl owner who's in their mid 80s to win another SB, there's a little known fact that could compell his son to win another.
There are only two father and son HOF owners. Those franchises are the NYG and the Stealers. The second generation went on to win multiple SBs which propelled them into the HOF.
I believe Steven is that guy who wants a place in the HOF so he'd better get a move on because he's pushing 60. If he can win multiple SBs under his ownership, he'd be a first ballot, minus any scandal.
Only problem is, don't expect another SB while Jerry's above ground.
I totally get it. Current behaviors are a good indicator of future behaviors, but he's operating under daddy now. Let's see what happens when he's on his own.Geez you are delusional dynasty hope what are you thinking.
Steven Jones could care less about being in the Hall of Fame.
To win you have to spend money and he's proved that he is the cheapest individual in the NFL.
Steven Jones Super bowl and Hall of Fame is the same as his father's right now.
Maximum profit and being the most valuable team in all of sports.
Sad but true I used to be in denial but no more the Jones family has proved conclusively what's important to them
I truly hope you're right.I totally get it. Current behaviors are a good indicator of future behaviors, but he's operating under daddy now. Let's see what happens when he's on his own.
I gotta a feeling he'll want that HOF ring.
I absolutely think the opposite. I don't think Stephen cares. He has been mentored and trained by Jerry, his focus is on money and it shows in negotiation tactics, trying to save a million a year on a contract because they are thinking about bottom line, as opposed to what is another couple of million and lets win a championship....they are the highest profitable franchise in NFL, by 4 fold, and yet, that's the focus. it never fails with both of these bafoons. As fans realize there's no incentive for a current HOF, three time Super Bowl owner who's in their mid 80s to win another SB, there's a little known fact that could compell his son to win another.

So when he takes over will we win 3 super bowls, if he let's the HC be in charge.Stephen is Jerry 2.0 and actually, he may be worse.
It’s just a gameOr the entire family hitting an ice berg on Jerry's yacht and going down to Davey's locker to sleep with the fishies
Yup.Stephen is Jerry 2.0 and actually, he may be worse.
