Sources: Giants trade DT Lawrence to Bengals for No. 10 pick

I don’t use the term “hater”. I’m only referring to the hijacking of almost every thread and damn near every post that someone has to bring up their hate for Jerry or Dak. We know Jerry sucks and most of us feel the same way. Just tired of seeing it 5,000 times a day. But it is your right to do it. Carry on
But bro, you don't have to rubberneck too. The thing about people who complain about rubbernecking...is that they do it too. We all do.

Your true issue should be with Jerry providing so much material. Join us in directing your fire at him.

Why are media people saying the Giants getting pick 10 in addition to 5 suddenly hurts the Cowboys' chances of getting the defender they want?

Are the Bengals so stacked defensively they would have no need for a Sonny Styles or Caleb Downs if they kept their pick?

Haha. I’m not the hopium type but not going to let myself be completely miserable. I have to live with it or I can choose to root for another team. I have a couple other teams I root for but Jerry isn’t going to be able to transfuse my silver/blue blood. Lol

Actually, their entire drafts the last 5 years have been not good. Not terrible, but this fallacy that they draft super well needs to be studied because its just not true.
What has really hurt the Cowboys is the total whiff in the first round.

Taco, Mazi and now possibly Guyton. These really hurt when you are building your team's foundation of young talent.

Hence the need for a strong FA process to fill in the gaps that your drafting has created.

It never helps when your young talent you do draft ends up leaving the team right after the rookie contract is over... Parsons.

But then layer on top of that coaches who just can't get things over the hump, and you can see the pressure and frustration developing.

Our lack of success as a team is not happening in a vacuum.

I agree, but I have decided not to take a undying loyalty to the mgmt approach.

Love the team, love the tradition, love the past, hope for the future...not a fan of the owner.

Don’t misunderstand. I’m not a fan of the owner. I’m a fan of the cowboys. Jerry deserves all the bashing. I just get tired of seeing it 5,000 times per day. LOL

I was so pissed when they hired harbaugh. I knew they were going to start doing smart things. Great trade.

I rarely post so none of that applies to me but I honestly think one “side” is just as guilty as the other. The difference is there are lot more on side than the other due to the past 30 years and I can’t fault them for feeling the way we do until we see actual changes being made and those changes being reflected by the results on the field.

No he used it correctly. Im not saying haters exist or don’t. What I’m saying is you are trying to bundle critiques and haters together. Someone who criticizes the team isn’t a hater.
Good to know I’m not a hater by your definition.

Giants front office is just as bad as ours lol…..no one says let’s strive to be the Giants front office. I still remember when you guys had them in the playoffs last year….
Almost every word you posted above can be directly applied to the Cowboys front office.
I disagree about the Giants' FO being as bad as ours. They actually hired a HC with "skins on the wall."
Who did Jerry hire?

Fair enough.

My first sentence was this front office is as bad as ours so yes it does apply to the Cowboys front office.

He literally hired a head coach with skins on the wall lol. And before that hired Mike McCarthy. I’d prefer guys new and innovative and not “skins on the wall”. They hired Harbaugh who just got fired because he wasn’t good lol.

You’re entitled to your opinion. I’d personally not want a retread.

What does shotty have on his wall? Probably darts from one of his lame team building field trips.

I mean his dad was Marty Shottenheimee and he’s been coaching for 30’years…. If you want to say he suck’s or he hasn’t proven anything that’s fair but I don’t know if he lacks “skin on the walls”.

I was talking about the present coach...as if you didn't know. By the way, when did Marty's boy win a SB?
I'll take a retread over a never will be. At least they know what it takes.

I was talking about the present coach too lol.

He’s never won a SB. Neither did his dad. Doesn’t mean they don’t have skins on the wall.

I believe you’d take a retread. I’m sure you were happy with the McCarthy era. I wasn’t.

Skins on the wall means he's won something of significance as a coach.
Apparently you guys have a different definition...
