[Schefter] Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa is still expected to be the first offensive lineman selected Thursday night despite the fact that sources say he has a herniated disc in his back. Mauigoa returned to Indianapolis for a medical recheck two weeks before the draft.

Bad news for us.

Not really. We were never going to draft him and he’ll still he the first oline taken

Slim chance he drops to 13 anyway, but yeah, if he does , maybe someone takes defense in that 8-11 range that wanted oline

an already week first rd gets weaker

I would never use a first rd pick on a tackle with a herniated disk. Its just a matter of time before he will be done if that has happened already

Yes another offensive player dropping

Surgery is the last option, it must be a real concern because most heal on their own or with non-surgical treatments.

If no one takes him and all of the top defensive guys are gone, I see Dallas taking him or Proctor or the Penn State guard and moving Tyler Smith out to LT and Guyton to RT. Dallas has to take value and this is Oline would be the value pick based on defensive run of players early.
