I actually thought Faulk was the pick. I’ve never heard of Lawrence, but he did grade out the most explosive of the group. They go on the measurable obviously. I do wonder if they could have gotten him in the 2nd, but getting two 4ths also makes it not so bad. Then factor in they don’t have a 2nd round pick and they picked their guy and knew he was a bit of a reach:

The thing I wonder is if you thought he was so awesome of a pass rusher why don’t you take him at 12. Downs was the higher rated defensive prospect so I think they made the right move.

Mocks and media guys are meaningless and clueless when to comes to actual value, but if that is what you like, perhaps it will make you feel better that he was one of the players most mocked to the Cowboys at 20 in the last couple of days before the draft.

He's being snarky but don't you all get tired of repeating what internet experts say? You do realize anybody can become the next kiper or jeremiah right? Hell Voch is pretty much running the draft show right now and a few years ago he was a nobody. Why do you think so highly of who they say is a reach?

If we can somehow get Rodriguez this draft will be an A++ regardless of the remaining picks. Getting him would immediately move our D up to top 15. Add a couple slightly above average CB’s and with Downs we’re cooking with gas.

Ok first of all thats not true or everyone would be doing it. These guys cover the draft 365 days a year. Kiper invented the entire concept of mock drafts and following the draft.

Most of us would have never heard of many of these players were not for guys like Jeremiah/field yates ect who write about them year round. You can't watch and follow all 250+ division 1 football programs......unless it's your full-time job.

Where do you get YOUR information?

there's literally fulll games of every college matchup on YouTube lol. Why do I need a so called expert when they are wrong as much as I am?

i don’t recall a pick (downs) where literally everyone is good with it. atleast in recent history. Lamb was exciting but some complained in why we got him since we had Amari at the time.

Great first day btw by dallas loved both picks.

Experts narrow it down. You aren't watching 125 YouTube games every week trying to figure out who the best players might be and what their draft grades should be relative to their peers. Don't be absurd.
